INTRODUCTION

Incidents are inevitable and emergency procedures are of an unpredictable nature. The new environmental requirements and the direct involvement of the state authorities in an incident, requires companies to be well prepared to respond in such events. Many shipping casualties require recovery of the vessel and/or cargo and bunkers and there are needs for providing apt knowledge and professional advice to professionals directly involved in the industry as regards ship salvage and wreck removal.

The participants of this course will gain considerable expertise in marine salvage and wreck removal operations.
