INTRODUCTION:

ISO 14001:2018 is an internationally recognized standard that provides a framework for organizations to manage their environmental responsibilities effectively. The standard was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and sets out the requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS). An EMS is a systematic approach to managing environmental impacts caused by an organization’s activities, products, or services.

ISO 14001:2018 helps organizations to identify and manage their environmental impacts, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and continually improve their environmental performance. The standard is applicable to all types and sizes of organizations, from small businesses to large multinational corporations, in any industry or sector.
